WE ARE OPEN!

Dear Ahimsa Family,

We are very excited to be able to open the studios to students as our region in Illinois moved into Tier 2, allowing for group classes of no more than 10.

Please check your app or the website for available classes, as we will be regularly adding in-person classes to the schedules. If you want to attend in person, you must sign up at least one hour prior to the class start time. All students (including workstudy and teachers) must pre-book all classes, no walk-ins.  If we see that no one is signed up for class one hour prior to the start time, we will cancel the class. Always check the schedule: www.ahimsayogastudios.com/all-locations-schedule

You must bring your own mat, water bottle, and any props you’d like to use to class. We cannot provide these services right now. In addition, per state regulations, masks are required at all times while waiting in line and in the studio, during class.

Very important: cancellations must be made at least two hours before class. No-shows or late cancellations will incur a $15 fee in addition to the fee you paid for class. To cancel a class, use Ahimsa’s app, the Mindbody app, or login to your Mindbody account.

Thank you so much for your support--and patience!--as we continue to move through the pandemic. We are so grateful to be here for you and obviously wouldn't be if it weren't for your support.

Namaste,

Kelly & Masin

Spotlight on Yin Yoga - Virtual Workshop

with Caitlin Coan

Fri: 1/22; 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

This workshop is perfect for those that are looking to tap into the slower, more grounding side of their practice. Join Caitlin for the passive, full body yin yoga practice. Caitlin will guide you through all of the yin yoga postures for a complete body, mind, and spirit experience.

Yin yoga goes a little bit further into the connective tissue activating change on a deeper level. Yin keeps you in a deep stretch from 3-5 minutes, depending on the nature of the pose, working into the meridians, energy channels, of your body. Yin challenges you to find peace in what sometimes might be an uncomfortable position.

Yin is an amazing way to increase or maintain your flexibility and range in motion as it is focused around the major joints and returning back to a calmer, more neutral nervous system. Yin is suitable for all levels and newcomers alike - encouraging breath and body awareness along with releasing fascia of the body.

Fee: $30/$25 members
